The software is a job search, organization and networking tool that reaches
across the internet to uncover jobs right for seeker, identifies insiders,
people who you can approach about the job at a company, and helps you manage
the job search process.
The Job Insider is easy to use job search, organization and networking
software. Seeker can query multiple job sites, filter jobs based on
relevancy to his request, find insiders, organize the search process and his
track progress with each of the opportunities. The insiders are people
with whom seeker has a personal or professional relationship and whose contact
seeker has in his computer address book.

Setting Up Preferences
The Job Insider will search several job sites at the same time, it let's you
specify two locations where your desired job would physically be. You can
search cross two industries and for two different levels of responsibility as
well as two different types of jobs.
Searching
Once user has set his preferences, searching with The Job Insider is as simple
as clicking on the New Search button.
User can view the whole list of found jobs right in the search area. The
Job Insider shows the job title, location, company and the source of the
job. A download indicator shows how much data has been downloaded for
each job. By default, The Job Insider will download minimal amount to
give user an idea if he wants more.
With The Job Insider, user can view full job descriptions at the same time as he
is looking at the whole list of jobs. This is achieved by simply clicking a
button. The Job Insider will highlight the keyword(s) to help user make a
decision whether the job is a good fit for him
Job Insiders
The Insiders are people who you know and can approach to ask for an
introduction. In our experience most people are happy to help, if you
have already done the work, and specific with your request. From time to
time by the time you get to the hiring manager the job has already been
filled. In that case we found it is useful to ask both your insider and
the hiring manager for an introduction or a reference to someone who could lead
you to a desired job. When that happens make sure to enter their contact
info in your address book. If you have a large address book The Job
Insider provides value by quickly sifting through identifying insiders for
you. An address book is considered to be large, when you do not remember
all of the people in it.
When The Job Insider finds an insider, you can see who the insider is and
contact them, right from The Job Insider. The Job Insider can detect and
display multiple insiders.
Job Queue
The Job Insider provides a way to conveniently store interesting jobs.
Using the Job Queue user stores the jobs for later revisions and pursuit. The
Queue keeps track of the date when user added a job into it.
Detailed job information is automatically downloaded when a job is moved into
the Job Queue. User can take notes for every job stored there. He can
keep track of his progress, keep the references he get from his insiders,
annotate the meetings. The notes are automatically saved.
