The program illustrates the capabilities of our original algorithms. It is a mobile demo version and, unlike the working version of the program, it has a number of significant restrictions.
Moreover the demo version only solves problems of relatively small size (the solving of a large size problem by the demo version can take a lot of computer time).
Progma Co. has the technology, which gives it the opportunity to develop working software for solving scheduling problems of the most general kind.
Also Progma can solve various industrial problems related to classical scheduling problems. For example, if the actual performance of the planned schedule is behind schedule, it is possible to solve the so-called "headaches problem". The solving of this problem offers the minimal speed-up of some operations (decrease of execution time, but within predetermined limits) to satisfy the deadline without disruption the pre-arranged sequence of the works. In effect the "headache problem" determines how, in conditions of lag, to involve minimal "additional resources" to meet the deadline without "breaking" the planned work sequence.
We emphasize, that it is not a question of Progma having a universal software product, but rather having the technology allowing us to solve concrete problems specified by the customer.
