History
The Progma Company was founded in February 1990. The core of the company was a team consisting of two skilled mathematicians with extensive programming experience and one highly skilled programmer. Since February 1989 this team has been doing research in applied programming. At the moment Progma concentrates on two principal areas of activity: the development of organizational principles and technology for compiling computerized programming manuals continuously responding to the rating of a student and solving mathematical problems concerning under-defined systems of graphical objects in the AutoDesk environment. Since there was a breakthrough in the second topic, the team's attention was focused on it. In the winter of 1990 the team extended its staff and reorganized into the Progma Co, with the purpose of creating commercial products (in particular, we have developed ParaDis - special extension of AitoCad for parametrical designing; Paradis has various applications, one of which is Mechanism Drawing Animation). In May 1990 Progma Co acquired the status of an "AutoDesk Approved Application Developer". Subsequently Progma also became active several other areas – primarily concerning client-server business applications.
